The Manifesto
KTE isn’t just a clothing brand. It’s a reminder. A symbol of what happens when you stop chasing validation and start confronting the truth. Kill The Ego is about stripping away the noise, the pride, the comparison, and the need to be seen. It’s about facing what’s real. The gym is the stage for that confrontation. Every rep, every failure, every quiet moment under the bar exposes who you are when nobody’s watching. This is more than fashion. It’s mindset made visible. It’s built for the ones who train in silence. The ones who know strength doesn’t come from showing off. It comes from showing up. Kill The Ego is not about perfection. It’s about self-awareness. The battle within will always be harder than the weight in front of you. But that’s where truth lives.
The Founder’s Story
My name is Damian Aguirre, and KTE started with a mirror.
I was training one day, just observing my thoughts, and I realized I had been giving up too easily. From the outside, it looked like I had it together. But deep down, I knew I didn’t. I wasn’t proud of who I saw looking back.
That moment forced me to face the truth. My ego was standing in the way of everything I wanted to become. I had to let go of thinking I knew it all. I had to kill that part of me to make room for growth.
It wasn’t just about me. I started to see how many others fight that same inner battle. Lifters, athletes, anyone trying to find purpose. I felt this heavy emotion, like guilt mixed with clarity. I realized I had let the younger version of myself down, and I wasn’t going to do it again.
I built KTE as a way to fight back.
Not just for me, but for everyone who feels that same emptiness or pressure to prove themselves.
KTE is a brotherhood and a sisterhood. It’s a reminder that we are all in this together, pushing, breaking, rebuilding.
The gym became my escape, my therapy, my discipline.
Now, it’s my mission to empower others to find that same release.
To remind people that they are more powerful than they think, and that greatness isn’t reserved for a chosen few.
We’re not perfect beings. But every one of us has the potential to grow, to lead, to overcome.
The Reflection
When you wear KTE, you’re not wearing a logo. You’re wearing accountability. You’re wearing the mindset of someone who refuses to let the ego win.
It’s not about being better than anyone else. It’s about being better than who you were yesterday.
Every lift, every rep, every failure, it’s all part of the process.
And through it all, you’ll find yourself.
